When I wrote this post, I told that I was learning about Cross Site Scripting. I use to report the sites that I find vulnerable for XSS at XSSed. When I use to do that, I had a target that - I should reach the Top Submitters page to consider myself making a good progress. After a month of hunt, and thanks to Rediff, I managed to reach the Top Submitters page. After that, I’ve stopped looking for those bugs, even if I look, I’ve stopped submitting them at XSS even though, I report them to those webmasters as long as they keep their emails in contact page.
Everything’s fine there, and I know you can’t understand the link between the title of the post and the crap I’ve written. Well, the problem started here that someone-else started submitting XSS vulnerabilities on my name. If you read this post, you can understand that my name’s spelling is so weird that it’s hard for find guys who use that spelling. And I’ve no clue whether that guy is reporting the same to the concerned webmasters or not. So, I’ve mailed Pagkalos, the guy behind XSSed requesting to remove my name. So, the result is
update archive set name=”Anonymous” where name=”Karteek”;
Now, my name is removed from XSS archive !!! For the guy, who is submitting on my name - Boss, please use your name, leave my weird name to myself. And, thanks a lot to Pagkalos for removing my name as soon as I asked.
